Goodman Networks VAR/Logistics support the material needs of Goodman Network's core businesses as well as our external customers. As a Value-Added-Reseller (VAR) the company provides additional material handling services to OEMs and direct equipment users that can significantly reduce time in the field and create cost savings for our clients. Goodman Network's Procurement team, a part of our VAR/Logistics organization performs all project-related material purchases. Goodman VAR is responsible for ensuring that all project-related materials are available and at the disposal of project teams for successful and on-time project completion. This includes managing the purchase and delivery of materials that are drop-shipped to a project site. Goodman VAR/Logistics team also provides material-handling services such as receiving inspection, warehousing, pick-and-pack, and shipping. The group also provides support in the areas of material Staging/Configuration in instances where projects and customers require these services. These services reduce time in the field and create considerable cost savings for our clients.
Value Added Reselling services performed by the Goodman team include all of the services noted above and can be combined with more technically sophisticated Assembly, Configuration, and Testing services. Goodman's VAR services include order management for orders of any complexity and can be tightly integrated with other project services to provide efficient and comprehensive turnkey project execution. Goodman executes these services or as a stand-alone service package. Project efficiencies and economies of scale are generally improved when these Value-Added-Services are performed in conjunction with other Goodman-provided field services such as on-site installation, test, turn-up and optimization.
