Goodman Networks’ Core Network Deployment (CND) team comprises a vital component in the company’s mission to deploy data-intensive next generation networks.  CND team members average more than 10 years of experience in the telecommunications industry and bring expertise in network elements from Adtran, Alcatel, Cisco, Fujitsu, Lucent, NEC, Nortel, Spirent, Tellabs and others.  We adhere rigorously to telecom standards from organizations like ANSI and Telcordia, including GR1275 and TP76300.  Our CND team’s capabilities include:

  • Transport. Goodman Networks works extensively with transport network elements such as DWDM, Metro-Rings, DACS, ADM and OADM. We specialize in lab trials, first office applications, central office build outs, integration, migrations, conversions, capacity growth including hardware and software revisions, post services, decommissioning and recycling/resale.
  • Access. In both the central office and in the field, Goodman Networks provides expertise with DSL, DSLAM and NG-DLC as well as all IPTV technologies.  Through our access capabilities, we help deliver the ‘triple play' of services from the central office to the end-user. We provide EFI&T services as well as full lifecycle support from cabinet re-skins through capacity and technology upgrades all the way through decommissioning of TDM equipment.
  • Switch. Goodman Networks performs switch installation, testing, system expansions, integrations, conversions and post services which include system hardware and software updates and trouble-shooting call outs.  We also provide expertise in decommissioning and recycling/resale of switch equipment.
  • Power. We offer a comprehensive array of services to satisfy network DC power requirements, including complete power systems from 50 to 15,000 amps, system upgrades & modernizations, engineering and installation of rectifiers, inverters, BDFBs, converters and generators, battery plant installations and upgrades, distribution upgrades, and decommissioning/removal.
