Goodman Networks began as a small family owned and operated firm that incorporated in February of 2000. By mid-year, the Company had secured its first customer and began to perform telecommunication services across the U.S. The Company focused on services such as technical staffing, network retrofits and project management. The roots of the wireless division (now Network Infrastructure Services) began in 2003.

Although telecom industry capital expenditures continued to decline, the Company experienced profitable revenue growth of 74%.

In 2004, the Company moved into a larger facility in Farmers Branch, Texas, in order to support its growing businesses. Also in 2004, the Company was included on the Deloitte Texas Crescent Technology Fast 50 list as a “Rising Star.”

In November 2005, Goodman Networks was ranked #235 in the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 which recognizes the 500 fastest-growing technology companies in the U.S.. In November 2005, Goodman Networks was honored as DFW MBE of the year after being nominated by SBC (AT&T).

In 2006, Goodman Networks made Inc. Magazines’ Inc. 500 list as well as the Deloitte Fast 500. The five Goodman brothers were also honored in Los Angeles as Info-Business of the Year by Hispanic Business magazine. 

In 2007, Goodman Networks relocated headquarters as well as its centralized logistics operations. Q1 saw the “Go Live” date for Oracle 11i ERP.   The company’s executive headquarters relocated to Plano, Texas bringing it closer to both its employee and customer bases. Entrepreneur Magazine recognized Goodman Networks as the 21st fastest growing company in the United States in its July issue. In addition, Deloitte, the MTBC, the Inc. 5000 list and several Hispanic Business organizations recognized Goodman Networks as one of the fastest growing technology companies in the US for 2007.

2008 witnessed the realization of the efforts put into place in late 2006 and early 2007. Improvements in the Company’s internal processes and management team resulted in consistent high quality scores from our largest customers. The company was once again featured on the Deloitte and Tech Titan’s lists.

In 2009, Goodman Networks continues to expand and diversify its capabilities, national footprint and the telecom lifecycle to offer seamless end-to-end capabilities for its customers. The Company now employs over 1,500 telecommunications professionals throughout the United States.
