These professionals bring over 200 years of cumulative telecommunications experience to create the complete end-to-end telecommunications service solutions company. It is their vision and focus on creating long-term win-win synergies through quality processes and the hiring and management of world-class personnel that helps our clients achieve the project and program successes that they require. Most of our current executives and directors have worked as amiable colleagues for several years here at Goodman and have had decades of shared experience at other companies. These long-term relationships benefit communication, the focus and direction of the Company internally and garner credibility and admiration of those within the industry.

John Goodman, is co-founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Goodman Networks Inc.  Mr. Goodman’s telecom career spans two decades beginning with Bell Atlantic Professional Services where he managed a variety of services throughout the southwestern United States.  Later, Mr. Goodman managed Central Office Environment Operations for Bell Atlantic Professional Services before accepting a position with GTE at the Network Operations Center in Irving Texas where he was involved in the management and support of networks nationwide.  Post merger, while at Verizon he provided network design and support services for internal and external customers.  In 2000 he left Verizon to co-found Goodman Networks.   Mr. Goodman holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas Tech University.

Ron Hill is Chief Operating Officer  of Goodman Networks. Ron is a seasoned telecom Executive with 23 years of progressive management experience in Sales, Marketing, Program Management, Services, and Engineering, with the majority of his time spent in technical roles. Ron began his career with AT&T in 1985 in Atlanta in the Consumer Products Division. Prior to joining Goodman, his last position was with Alcatel-Lucent where he served as Vice President of Network Engineering -Integration and Optimization. Prior to the merger of Alcatel and Lucent technologies, Ron held positions in Lucent Technologies as VP of Marketing, Senior Director of Sales, Director, NA Engineering, and Senior Director of Program Management. Ron earned his Master’s Degree in 1997 in Business Administration from Kellogg, Northwestern University, in Evanston, IL. In addition, he has earned Bachelor degrees in Biology and Psychology.

Scott Pickett, Chief Marketing Officer/Executive Vice President Corporate Planning and M&A, joined Goodman Networks in February of 2002. Since Mr. Pickett’s tenure began at Goodman Networks, he and the management team have grown the company from $10M in revenue in 2001 to over $300M for 2009. Prior to working at Goodman, Scott was the VP of Sales for MindLever Corporation, an enterprise software company located in Research Triangle Park, NC. After securing five Fortune 100 customers, Scott and the management team sold MindLever to NASDAQ listed Centra Software. Prior to joining MindLever, Mr. Pickett managed highly effective solutions-based sales organizations at two other enterprise software companies. Mr. Pickett graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science in Computing & Information Science from McKendree College in Lebanon Il.

Joseph “Joe” E. Hart is Goodman Networks President of Network Infrastructure Services. Prior to coming to Goodman, he held the position of Senior Vice President of Operations for NorthStar Communications Group managing their wireline and wireless operations throughout the US. He had previously served in the wireless broadband industry as Vice President - Global Services for IP Wireless Inc. In this capacity, he was responsible for project management, logistics, network engineering, training, order management and global technical and customer support. Joe has held a variety of senior positions within the telecommunications industry and served in various capacities for companies such as Crown Castle (CCI), Fluor Corporation, AT&T Network Systems (now Lucent), and AT&T International. Joe graduated from Baldwin-Wallace College with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and also holds a Master's of Science degree in Systems Management from the University of Southern California.

John Shelnutt, Executive Vice President of Sales and Business Development, joined Goodman Networks in October of 2008. John brings 25 years of senior executive client relationships and technology/industry expertise to Goodman Networks. Prior to Goodman, John has served as Senior VP of Worldwide Sales for Tropos Networks as well as senior positions at Alcatel. At Alcatel, he started and led Alcatel's US wireless market initiatives including sales, business development, solutions development with margin responsibility. Prior to that, he was VP Sales to BellSouth and directly responsible for the Joint Procurement Consortium (JPC) comprising BellSouth, Ameritech, PacBell, and SWBT. The JPC win resulted in establishing Alcatel's worldwide DSL lead with over $5B in JPC DSL revenue. John was instrumental in establishing DSL in the market and served on the Board of the DSL Forum, an industry consortium for the definition and advancement of DSL. He has also served on an ad hoc NYC Public Schools Technology Board and served on many advisory boards. Mr. Shelnutt holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, Georgia.

Monty West, Vice President of Human Resources, brings over 20 years of experience leading Human Resources organizations at large telecom and high-technology companies.  Monty is responsible for leading all of Goodman’s Human Resources efforts, including: Compensation and Benefits, Leadership and Learning, Organizational Development, Hiring and On-Boarding, HR Business Partnership, HR Compliance, and Facilities Management. Prior to joining Goodman Networks, Monty held leadership positions with Alcatel, L-3 Communications, and Microsoft. He has a Master’s degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas and a Bachelor’s degree from Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches, TX.
