Goodman Networks Appoints New EVP of Sales and Business Development. Scott Willis brings more than 25 years of OEM- and carrier- focused telecommunications experience


 
Plano, Texas (March 12, 2013) – Goodman Networks Inc., a leader in the design, engineering, deployment, integration and maintenance of wireless telecommunication networks in the United States, announced today the appointment of Scott Willis as Executive Vice President of Sales and Business Development.
 
Mr. Willis joins Goodman Networks from Ericsson, where he served as Executive Vice President and General Manager of Key Accounts in North and South America. During his tenure at Ericsson, he was recognized for securing multiple industry-leading partnerships that grew key accounts from $25 million dollars to $2.2 billion annually. Previously, Mr. Willis held executive sales and marketing positions at Optimi Corporation, Somera Communications and Nokia Corporation. At Nokia, he was responsible for growing the company’s SBC, BellSouth and Cingular Wireless accounts from zero to approximately $1.5 billion in annual revenue in just over two and half years. Earlier in his career, Mr. Willis served in various executive roles in Network Operations, Finance, Sales and Marketing at BellSouth and Sprint Corporation. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Finance from the University of Oklahoma and an MBA from Wake Forest University.
